Everyone is different and unique and so is every event and we will do everything we can to make your event special. We help you to find the venue, create the ambiance, create a menu especially for the occasion. We come prepared and we have exceptional staff. We have excellent relationships with all the major vendors for rentals, etc. We carefully select only the finest and freshest ingredients. Cynthia LeongCynthia has had a love for cooking since early childhood. Growing up with a Mom who is an accomplished cook in her own right and the other “Pea” in “Two Peas”, Cynthia comes by her love of cooking naturally and is passionate about creating the best tasting dishes.

Working in restaurants throughout high school, Cynthia discovered early on that she loved everything about the food experience and took every opportunity she could to learn more and more about the culinary experience. Serving good food is what really makes her happy. She spent some time working at a 14th century hotel in England and then went on to work on a cruise ship. Travelling became her other passion and she has travelled internationally including Mexico, Germany, England and her favourite destination – Thailand. From her travels, Cynthia brings back a bit of the culture she has experienced and infuses new flavor into her recipes.

Cynthia’s love for Vancouver and its multiculturalism inspires her and when she is looking for inspiration, you can find her at Granville Island, Commercial Drive, or the local farms to see what is available.

The 2010 Olympics took Cynthia to Whistler where she was part of the Olympic Culinary Team working under the direction of Chef Michael Smith. Cynthia was devoted to the Olympics providing gold medal meals for the athletes and volunteers. Lifelong friendships, wonderful memories and hard work rejuvenated her and the decision to take her passion to the next level was made and Two Peas took on a new dimension.
